As an alternative to expensive legal representation, we sell Dissolution of Marriage Kits. Dissolution of Marriage Kits from the Cleveland Mediation Center are for couples where:

• At least one party has been a resident of Cuyahoga County for the past six months.
• The couple wishes to end the marriage, and agree on all aspects of the divorce.
• They would like to fill out the forms themselves, without the aid of an attorney.
•Both parties agree to attend the court date once that date is assigned.
•The Kits are non-refundable.

The kits contain all necessary forms and instructions. CMC is not able to give legal advice about completing the forms – we refer persons to the Domestic Relations Court at (216) 443-8829.

After completing the kit, it should be filed with the Clerk of County Court at the Justice Center for $200 (price as of 10/2000). Parties will be notified by mail 30-90 days as to their court date.

The price of the kits is $100 for couples with children and $95 for those without. The kit comes with a disk(s) compatible with most PC's. To pay with cash or money order, please contact us for instructions. They are non-refundable.
