Cleveland Mediation Center offers services and/or rental assistance for Veterans facing eviction.
In partnership with FrontLine Service, CMC uses mediation and rental assistance funds to prevent veterans and their families from becoming homeless. Clients meet with CMC staff to talk through how to resolve their housing crisis and to determine eligibility. Clients that owe back rent attend a mediation session with their landlord to talk about what is owed as well as any other issues that may arise. Clients in need of new housing will receive help with their housing search, and may be eligible to receive a deposit and rental assistance. FrontLine Service provides ongoing case management to clients as needed.
