Volunteer Mediators

Individuals who have taken CMC’s Fundamentals of Mediation Training are invited to sign-up to become a volunteer mediator. This is a great way to practice mediation skills and also give back to the community through volunteering. All volunteer mediators are trained by CMC staff through observation, co-mediation, and reflective practice to discuss how the mediation process is going. CMC volunteers are required to commit to volunteering at CMC for a certain length of time and to assist with other agency needs and programs (in addition to mediating). Other responsibilities may include office work, research, data entry, etc.
